Recently, I visited the enigmatic Georgia Guidestones in Elberton, Georgia.  This monument is both fascinating and mysterious, holding many secrets.  Fortunately for me, I have discovered them.  My goal at the moment is to publish my photos of the site.  I will return to this page to work in more detail about the story surrounding the guidestones at a later date.  When I return to Elberton, I will use my better camera gear for more detail and higher resolution.

Sometimes a Garmin sends you down unexpected routes, as you can see here.  No worries, rugged roads are easily handled by rugged vehicles.
The winding dirt road on the way to the Georgia Guidestones.  At this point, I found myself wondering just what I would see before I arrived at the monument.

The Guidestones from the parking lot.
On the left is Swahili, the top is Classic Greek and the right is written in Spanish.

From this position, there is Hebrew on the left, Sanskrit on top and Hindi on the right.  In the center stone there is a hole bored (appears as a black dot on the stone) that when looked through, points to the north star, Polaris.
I realized after I arrived that the guidestones were constantly visited, even in this relatively remote area.  I never had the place all to myself.  The identities of these individuals have been removed with some creative editing of the photo.  Here we have Chinese on the left, Egyptian hieroglyphics on top and Arabic on the right.

This is the message written in Russian.  On the face of the top stone between the English and Russian sides is Babylonian Cuneiform.
The message in English.  Just to the right is the bored hole that points upward to the north star.

A work in progress...I'm not done yet!
