Quick Rants:

Remember when the Grammy Awards were interesting instead of a boring platform of people that pretend to be other people in order to get rich? They get awards and have cheap labor from other countries hand them cocktails at home only to spout ignorant political messages?  Every year, over and over again, some hypocritical dimwit is going to celebrate stupidity with a microphone to look like a complete fool.  This is so boring.  At what point will the ratings end up being so low that they remove these artificial people and their awards celebrating themselves as demigods from the air and get back to something nice to watch?  In the meantime, I will watch anything but this garbage.  These people are nothing more than puppets simply puckering their mouths issuing words put in their throats from the money masters.  I will continue to watch foreign film and television while this joke industry falls apart.

Hollywood.  Makes me want to stick a finger down my throat.  Will there ever be another original thought for a film?  Not only are old, worn out remakes being recycled yet again and again, comic book superheroes have become the most abused form of "entertainment".  One could argue that Marvel and DC Comics have ruined their legacy by selling their souls to the film making industry.  For Hollywood, it's great because they don't have to think.  They just make one flop after another wearing out the characters with mediocre scripts hoping to recover production costs at the box office.  Foreign film is a much better option.  Foreign films are original with interesting story lines that are frequently "stolen" by Hollywood because they can't come up with anything original that's worth watching.  Hollyweird will do anything to make a buck by any means necessary.  Many of the better films Hollywood has produced lately are remakes of foreign films.  So, why not watch them in their original versions instead of watching Hollywood copy everything they can find using political activists disguised as actors and actresses?

Often we hear the expression, "if there is other intelligent life in the universe".  This is laughable.  Anyone here that utters this statement should leave out the word, "other" because there is little intelligent life to ponder here.  Ignorance, stupidity and violence are not intelligent life.  A more appropriate statement is:  "If there is intelligence life somewhere in the universe."

What makes politicians think that holding hands with each other over their heads and pointing into the crowd at various people qualifies them as leaders?  Am I the only one who sees this?

Television and the media with the use of digital technology has become the largest brainwashing mind control system in the world.  The only true competition it has had is who is trying to own it all.  And it's now on steroids.

YouTube should change it's name to AdTube.  Even 30 second videos now have up to four ads attached.  This has been slowly implemented but it hasn't gone unnoticed.

More and more employers are increasing the burden required of employees in order to keep employment.  Increasingly, corporations are invading their employees' lives outside the workplace with requirements that they do not compensate for and have not a care for the personal rights of individuals when they deserve their time off work to be with their families and loved ones.

Friday, October 13, 1307.  On this day, Philip the Fair, King of France had every Knights Templar found in France arrested to stand trial for heresy.  Since that day, Friday the 13th has been considered an unlucky day.  Thirteen happens to be my favorite number.  I don't know whether it's my lucky number or not.  For some of the Templars, it was neither favorite nor lucky.
