| This is a sketch I have made of the original working sketch of the angel Uriel done by Leonardo da Vinci for his painting, Virgin of the Rocks. The sketch that I have done is actually 18 by 12 inches. | Say hello to the Guardian Monk of the Ancient Scrolls. I don't really know what I was thinking during his conception. He was born of my imagination sometime around 1990. He is basically a study of coarse woven cloth as affected by shadows that went way wrong. Any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental. I apologize for the flash issues with my digital camera. I will probably improve the images posted here in due time. |
